According to this website: http://www.livestrong.com/article/32...ilds-collagen/ there are plenty of veg*n foods that help promote collagen production. Among those mentioned, it suggests vegetables and fruits high in vitamin-c are helpful, like tomatoes, orange, kale etc. Soy products seem to be beneficial as well. But basically, this site seems to suggest there are a ton of food options for veg*ns that will help boast collagen production. This site backs this up as well: http://www.wisegeek.com/which-foods-...t-collagen.htm And of course, there are always supplements, so I don't see why this would be much of an issue?

Collagen is a protein, and our bodies assemble proteins from amino acids. As long as you are eating sufficient amounts of all the essential amino acids (9 or so different ones), the body will synthesise all the proteins and non-essential amino acids it needs. Trust me, I have a uni course in principles of protein structures
