Hi,

I'm developing a new veggy challenge app.

Every day you need to complete a challenge that has to do something with being vegetarian / vegan.

I have some challenges now, but I require more user input to have original challenges.

Do you guys know some?

Why not do some more research on your own, instead of asking us? Or, provide the list you have now, and ask us to expand it?

If you don't know where to start researching, you've already found it. There are plenty of people that come on here asking for help for various reasons. You need to read through that and compile it yourself.

If you're asking us to do the work for you, then we'll need to be included in any profits (read: money) from the app. But, I'm assuming you don't want to share your profits.

You mean like finding the ingredients that can be either plant or animal based? then emailing the company to find out?
Or can you spot the word gelatin, or D3 in ingredient list?
What questions do you ask when you contact restaurants in how to order vegan?

In other words, everything you can easily find out here (and other vegan sites)

I have some ideas!
- Replacing non-veg*n ingredients slowly over time. Ex. Switch to vegan butter first, then test out substitutes for eggs.
- Trying meat substitutes (and researching them - finding good ones can be tough in some areas)
- Finding veg*n recipes
-Trying new veg*n-friendly restaurants and menu options
- Learning to cook tofu. This one is really hard if you've never used it before.

Hardest thing about making tofu is avoiding every ones recommendations!
The fresher the better. Every brand tastes somewhat different.
Freeze or don't freeze? I hate to freeze
Press? I don't--maybe a press between plates by hand, nothing more
If I listened to advice about what others without trying my own way I wouldn't be veg'n! Everyone said 'freeze first, then when it's thawed it has a chewy texture' Yuck. like an old kitchen sponge.
