Have you guys ever done this before???

My offering---"Carrot Juice Is Murder"-Arrogant Worms

---a hysterical Dr. Demento-worthy song, kind of a 70'ish kumbaya to "save the vegetables"

That's a dreadful song by real big fish. here are the lyrics:

REEL BIG FISH LYRICS

"Say "Ten""

she's not eatin' bacon, not

eatin' sausage,

and she won't eat eggs,

not eatin' chicken

not eatin' turkey, she

won't have a steak,

but i just can't help feelin'

sorry

for this poor little lettuce head

you know, i can't stop cryin' cause i

know this broccoli's dead

vegetarian? i'm not a vegetarian,

vegetarian...she's a

poor little cow, little sheep,

little fish

how can I sleep? when carrots

are bleedin'

plants are screamin' and tomatoes cry,

you say "it's not so bad, they're only

vegetables", that's what you said

maybe i'm a murderer, but i'm hungry

and they're better off dead.

save a plant, eat a cow,

i want beef, i want it now!

i'm gonna eat it cause it's red!

i'm gonna eat it cause it's dead!

maybe i should eat it raw let the

blood run down my jaw

i'd eat people if it was legal,

i'd eat people if it was legal!

Ah...horrible! Well here's a good song by silverchair, it's all about animl liberation

Death becomes clearer through bloodshot eyes

As death from old age becomes nearer

Why can't the livestock be free

When trading soldiers for steak

Learn to evolve with the new transition

To act upon a hypocritical vision

Discard the old

And in with the new

Discard the old

In with the fashion

Learn to evolve with the new transition

To act upon a hypocritical vision

Learn to evolve

Learn to....

Learn to evolve

Who is the bad guy for iron require mince?

These are the facts so eat what you murder

This is animal liberation

Eight billion killed for human pleasure

Bring on the ape farm

Demolish the monkeys

Drink up, Drink up

Look down on junkies

A new hypocritical look and ambition

The time has come to make the decision, you....

Drink up, Drink up

Look down

I'll hold it back

I'll hold it baaaaaaaaaack

Oh!

Discard the old in with the fashion

Deeeeaaaaaaaath becomes clearer through bloodshot eyes

Oh, deeeeeeaaaaaaaath becomes clearer through bloodshot eyes

Here are the lyrics to THE ICE CREAM MAN COMETH by GOOD CLEAN FUN. I lent their record to my ex-gf. She thought this song was hilarious.

"This song is based on an inspirational true story. In 1991, in a suburban Syracuse, New York neighbourhood a group of 11 year old kids convinced their ice cream man to carry vegan treats."

Out on the streets a hot summer's day,

The kids getting hungry as they frolic and play,

Then comes the ringing sound it signals the plan,

They quickly surrounded the evil white van,

Eleven years old, but they didn't flinch,

Their watergun barrels did not move an inch,

The driver was guilty, but he had no clue,

Raised in a system he'd never thought through,

And the kids - TOGETHER,

They fought as one and they beat the man,

And the kids - TOGETHER,

They sowed us all how to make a stand,

From that day on, the dairy was gone,

He tried to fix what he had done wrong,

"GOOD BYE GOOD HUMOR, cruelty's not nice",

He said as he sold treats made from soy beans and rice,

'cause it's never too late to see the light,

To change your ways and do what is right,

The war wasn't over but the battle was won,

And now the neighborhood could have GOOD CLEAN FUN,

Well now you know the story,

And now you know it's true,

If little kids can change the world,

Just think what we could do.

Nerf Herder: Nosering Girl

I : I met a girl

She was standing on the dance floor of the club

She was a very very pretty girl

So I went up and talked to her

And when you share your thoughts with someone you feel close to them

Nosering girl I love you

Nosering girl I want you I want you I want you [x2]

Yeah she had pretty hair and beautiful eyes

And a Dalmatian jacket (Dalmatian jacket)

And she was the kind of girl who you would give up eating meat for

No more salami

No more steak or potatoes

Yeah you would walk on down to the health food store

And buy hummus and tabouli and babaganoush and ricecakes ricecakes ricecakes

Nosering girl I love you

Nosering girl I want you I want you I want you [x2]

As it turns out, she was the cousin

Of the ex-girlfriend of my good friend Steve my very good friend Steve

But she didn't like me

She said I was a drunkard, an alcoholic, a weirdo, a freak (freak)

Nosering girl I love you

Nosering girl I want you I want you I want you [x2]

Anyone remember a band called the Subhumans? They did heaps of pro-veggie songs. And they were good, too! Liked 'em even before I became veggie.
