So, I was pondering (vegetarians taste better)...

I've always heard that saying, "Vegetarians taste better." But the more I thought about that... it has to be true haha. Most people don't eat animals that are carnivores. And if they've tried it, they don't like it, at least from what people have told me.

I just think it's interesting. I don't know.

My boyfriend and I had been together almost two years before I changed my diet, and I went straight from Standard American Diet to near-veganism. He says he doesn't notice a difference.

As far as cannibalism, I've eaten carnivorous animals, and I don't agree that they taste worse than herbivores, and I don't think many other meat-eaters think that, either. For example, salmon and tuna eat lots of other fish, some of whom are in turn carnivorous themselves, and yet they are more popular in seafood restaurants than much of their prey. Many people also prefer the taste of American factory-farmed animals which, although herbivores by nature, have been fed rendered parts of other animals, to the taste of all-natural, pasture-raised animals; conversely, you'll find many adherents of, say, eggs from chickens that got to eat grubs as opposed to just vegetarian chicken feed. So I'm afraid there are no guarantees that we'll make a tastier soylent green once overpopulation drives us to cannibalism. Sorry to burst that bubble.
