Do you eat things with this in them? As far as I know, it comes from insects, but I can't find any good information. When I was at Trader Joe's, confectioner's glaze was added to some dark chocolate covered nuts/fruit/expresso beans, so I didn't buy any that listed it under the ingredients. I read on VB that some people like TJ's dark chocolate covered expresso beans too.
Is this always insect-derived, and is there anyway to be sure?
And is "food glaze" the same thing? Because it's in my scrumptious dark chocolate covered cherries.
