Aw, too bad. I bet you can find another one, though. My co-op sells them. I think they are very attractive.Originally posted by Epinephrine
when i was in argentina (or was it brazil? there it's called chimarrao) i bought the mate kit with the porongo bowl and the "bomb" and about 2lb of the herb, hehe, it's very cool. but apparently, i don't have it anymore
My body tolerates caffeine very well. But when I tried yerba mate, I felt like I had taken a lot of speed. My heart raced, and I felt jittery and queasy. I know I'm not the only one who is affected this way. It's not for everyone. But I'm glad it works for you.yerba mate contains caffeine together with other stimulants apparently, that give you other "ups" that hide the "bads" of caffeine. it is said to aid in detox and hangovers. i myself always feel queasy when i drink coffee and also have stomach aches, which doens't happen at all with mate - i think it has some property that relaxes your muscles too, if i'm not mistaken.
anyway, mate is better than coffee, and it tastes much better too
