Yay, I'm so happy. Until now, every time I saw a spider I just jumped away and yelled "someone kill it, someone kill it" and then they did.

But I just had a spider on my desk (yeah, a tiny one, but it was a spider) and I was like NO WAY, I'm not going to kill that little innocent thing. And I put it on a piece of paper and carried it outside. I bet it was happy to life

I'm so happy, I just had to share that with someone!!!

Oooh ooh! I freaked out because my mom almost hit a pigeon today... A PIGEON! As in rats with wings..? I hated those things before, but she almost hit one with her "nice" SUV and I started spazzing out! I was like, "STOP! THE PIGEON!" And she said, "It's just a pigeon!" Whatever, omni.

great ............ I have been getting bugs in my place as I've been leaving my balcony door open some times . I had a scary June bug (big nasty buzzy bug that flies around randomly running into walls) and I got him onto a piece of paper and outside. Had a moth too and a couple hornets (finally got those to go out the window where I pulled the screen up).

this reminds me of the time i saved a spider. i was taking a shower and i saw a big gigantic spider in the corner next to the shower head. so steped out of the shower and got a cup i let the spider crawl in the cup. i then turned the cup upside down (trapping the spider) next to the toilet. and toke my shower. afterwords i let him out from under the cup.

great method: if one is on the floor, I put a cup over it and then gently slide a piece of paper under the cup. Then quickly invert the cup, hold the paper to it and take it outside. Most of the time, the spider/bug is inside the cup, so I have never hurt one while sliding the paper. I find this way to work because I'm not afraid of the spider/bug running off paper.

-LINDS

indeed it is. my aunt always stomps on spriders right when she sees them. this gets me very mad. now her little 2 year old son kills every little creature he sees. screaming bug! he most resently stomped on a baby frog till you couldnt tell what it was. the thing that angers me most is that the rest of my family (although they know hes doin wrong) think its funny and cute.

I'm terrified of spiders myself. The other day I had a spider in my doorway--huge. Normally I would have asked someone to kill it, but I just asked if they could take it outside. It's wierd, I'm not afraid of spiders outside, in their natural environment, but when they come inside I freak.

I remember once when I was little, thier a beautiful spider outside between two bushes. Red, yellow, black...It was gorgeous, and the web was BEAUtiful. I used to watch it everyday, and talked to it like a pet. I was showing one of the boys in the neighborhood my new pet, and thinking he was funny, he took a rock and smashed it to the ground. I was heartbroken...Little boys, huh?

Hehe. I was given a little pine tree for mother's day (in a little pot). It came with a tiny little spider. I have decided to let him have his little home on my desk. Now, he has webs from the computer to the tree, all over in the tree and he comes out occassionally.... It is cute. Amazing that such a little guy can create so many webs. My co-worker named him Webster.

maybe I will now make peace with spiders...

I botched an attempt to save a spider the other day, alas. Like VegAna I had him on a piece of paper, but halfway to the door he made a break for it. I don't know where he went, but I suppose he's OK.

I wish I could be so forgiving about silverfish. They are the bane of my existence, but I do realize that I need to mellow out.

"Like if one was to come on me while I'm sleeping and if he decided to chomp on me,is it dangerous??"

--------------

There are many types of spiders . The vast majority can't harm humans.

There's now reason for the normal spider to chomp on a human. To them , you're just a landscape ... that's like you going out and bitting the ground ...hehe
