According to this article, we may run out of copper by the end of the century. Do you think humans will be able to adjust if this were to happen, or will this cause major problems?

Interesting. We will adjust though, we always do. Or maybe we'll be mining it from Mars by then <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/smiley.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":)"><br><br>
Save your pennies, they might be worth something done day.

Not sure. But there isn't anything we can't learn to live without. It could probably also be synthesized.

If the world is running out of copper, there should be more funding for police academies.

we'll come up with another source or reduce what we need if it gets to that. if prices went up enough to justify a premium on recycling it would prevent a lot of it from getting buried.
