I prefer general anesthesia. I enjoy sleep & didn't feel crappy afterward. Groggy for a little while, but not crappy.

I've had nitrous and maybe they didn't give me enough - but I was fully aware of what they were doing & couldn't relax. Felt loopy but still kept worrying about "what if I start to feel it?!"

I'd rather they just KO me and wake me up when it's all over. Sleep is good

And since my procedure was at 8am, the whole "not eating" thing wasn't a problem... you can't eat for 12 hours - no prob!

Because had I been even remotely aware of what was going on or saw blood, I would have thrown up on the spot. I felt fine afterward - no problems at all. my only negative was being unable to eat, but that had more to do with my teeth coming out than with being knocked out. I am not a big fan of dental procedures, so the less aware I am, the better.
