Join Wild at Heart Canada this weekend as we continue to educate local designer, Pam Chorley, owner of the fur-selling store Fashion Crimes that compassion is the fashion and wearing fur is never in style! We'll be there every Saturday until Pam signs our Fur-Free Pledge and ditches designing with dead animals once and for all!

When: Saturday February 3, 2007

Where: Fashion Crimes, 322 Queen St West, Toronto

Time: 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM

Meet: 2:15 PM

Posters and leaflets provided.

Are you as disgusted as we are at the amount of fur people are wearing this

winter? Bundle up and come on out on Saturday to help us show people that fur is dead!

We will once again be hosting a Meatout event on March 20 this year and we are looking for volunteers to help us out. If you are interested, please drop us a line.

Can you tell me more about this meat out thing on March 20th? I'm going to see Isis at the Opera House that night so I'll be in Toronto.

Sadly, I can't make it to this event today, but if it happens every Saturday, I will be there in a couple of weeks.

gah! what an awesome thing to do! I stumbled on this thread too late, but I'd also like to get involved in the future

Everyone meets up our demo site and stays put for the duration of the demo :) A couple times we have moved onto another fur store after the first demo but that's only in the summertime. We do our demos every Saturday and this Saturday, we're teaming up with ARK II and doing two demos.

About the Meatout We'll be hosting a large public vegan dinner, movie showing, and tabling event, which we did for the 2006 Meatout as well. It will be at 7:00 PM at downtown Toronto (central) location and the volunteers for the event will help us out with serving the food (at a buffet style table), handing out lit, etc. There will be a small pay-what-you-can at the door. Last year we had about 40 people come out, this year we're hoping for more like 60.
