Split from the unpopular opinions thread...

Please vote for the 'generation' that you technically belong to regardless of which one you most empathize with, then tell us whether you feel that you share the most common traits of your generation?

For reference, the following cutoffs are being used:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Generation#Western_world

Could be an interesting thread!

Interestingly I'm a baby boomer born in the 60's and I voted as such, but I don't fit the profile of either a Boomer or an Xer.

My generation is considered to be Tweeners.

OK, after doing a load of googling and reading a load of conflicting information I think maybe Y.

I don't really know though. I've never heard of these before (except for the baby boom).

Still confused. Still don't understand this.

Y though when I was younger I thought of myself as an Xer. It's hard really, they cover such a huge span of time. I feel a lot older than most generation Ys (because I am).

That's kinda how I feel, I'm an Xer born in the 60's, don't even remotely identify with Boomers yet feel too old to identify much with Xers.

My kids are all well within gen Y.

I never understood the alphabetical generation labels. I'm from whatever generation grew up playing Pokemon Red/Blue.
