First, where the hec does everyone get veganaise(is this the right name?? maybe i'm searching for the wrong product?). If anyone knows where to get good(preferably a brand you've tried) vegan mayo online or a brand that should be in whole foods, please share the secret! Lol I've been searching forever. If it is a site you get it from please let me know how their service and ect. is. I hate ordering off a site i know little about. Thanks!<br><br><br><br>
And now for the tofu dogs. I want to TRY and make tofu corn dogs ,but my question is how do you spice up or marinade a tofu dog to make them tastier? They just taste like tofu to me, nothing extremely special. Or maybe i just have a bad brand?<br><br><br><br>

about the tofu dogs...There are lots of brands of veggie dogs...which brand do you have?<br><br><br><br>
I like St. Yves or LightLife Smart Dogs. I think they taste great. I don't taste any tofu. make sure you cook them enough otherwise they might not taste great.<br><br><br><br>

For the tofu dogs, I have lifelight. Maybe i didn't cook it enough? It just tasted so bland and just like tofu to me. i'll check out that thread! thanks!

Our Meijer has Veganaise. I each purchase it there or at Whole Foods, it depends on where I am and which store I remember it at. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/grin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=""><br><br><br><br>
This actually reminded me ... is anyone doing Tofu Dogs for the 19th? It's National Hot Dog Day and my boyfriend and I are doing Tofu Dogs for lunch or dinner that day.<br><br><br><br>

I eat smart dogs and the first time i tried them i thought they were horrible. A year later i decided to give them one more try. I think because i wasnt expecting the taste of a real hot dog i enjoyed more. I boil mine and either put a little bit of mustard on it or eat it with a great chilli. Hope you can enjoy them soon!

We like the Lightlife dogs here. I've never really cared for boiled hot dogs even before I went vegan, but I think these are really good on the grill, or in the oven, just be REALLY careful and don't get them too crispy or the outer shell can get too chewy!!!<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/yes.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":yes:"> It even states on the package make sure that you don't overcook them!<br><br>
