I'm from Vancouver, Canada.
50% of them so far are not in the US...There should be choices for Australia, the UK, Europe, Canada, Asia, the Middle East, etc. We have members from all over the world.
Agreed! I'm from the UK, have lived in Australia and now live in Portugal. There should be choices for Australia, the UK, Europe, Canada, Asia, the Middle East, etc. We have members from all over the world.

I suspect there are far more vegans in other parts of the world than the U.S. Americans like their meat and dairy too d*** much. :/
Just outside of Buffalo, NY
Me too! High five!Calgary canada here.
I just pulled some random information from the net about top consumers/producers of poultry, meat, dairy, eggs, and cheese. Not sure of the reliability of the statistics. The US is a top poultry and egg producer in the world as well as in the top running for cheese production (but not consumption). We are not the top consumers of meat though. Sadly it seems that meat, egg, and dairy consumption is steadily increasing worldwide. It is disappointing to see that India, which boosts so many vegetarians, is a top consumer of dairy.I've actually done some research in this area. The biggest beef consumers HAD been Argentina. They are still up there, but I believe Uruguay may have replaced them in the top spot. The Japanese also like their beef too. I believe the Danes are also the top pork consumers. Agree with your assessment though. Will do a search to see what the vegetarian statistics are for the US. I do believe the number is growing.
Oh cool. I've never met another vegan in calgary before(minus family)Me too! High five!![]()
