What's a good whole wheat flour to buy?

I've been using King Arthur Organic Whole Wheat Flour for years. But the last 5 pound bag I bought has given me heartburn. It's never done that before. I figure they've changed their suppliers. Or they're processing it on equipment that also processes other foods. (I hate when companies do that). Anyway do you know of another whole wheat flour that I could try? The King Arthur whole wheat flour is hard red. Is there a better or milder type?

Thank you.

if you are up for it, best thing to do is buy the wheat berries and ground the flour fresh.

I worked at a natural food bakery that did this. They used Arrowhead Mills wheat berries.

looks like Arrowhead Mills is still around (I worked at a bakery way way back in 1980). I would trust their products, which does include flour.

there is a chance that your heartburn could be related to a wheat allergy generally, or a gluten allergy.
