I subscribe to Vegetarian Times, Veggie Life, Bead and Button, Beadwork, Ornament, and Lapidary Journal. I've never subscribed to Rolling Stone, but since the 70's I've picked up issues as they've been of interest to me (and I still have all of them!).

Oh man... So many... I cut back this year. Currently I get Veg. Times, Maxim and Stuff (free), Esquire, Details, Playboy, Sports Illustrated, and a philosophy journal. I used to have those plus: Information Security, Foreign Policy, Q, Spin, Magnet, and Computer Music. The periodicals room at the Uni. library here is awesome. SO MANY mags, newspapers, and academic journals.

Is Veg. Life anybetter than Veg. Times?

Currently- Prevention, Mother Jones, Utne Reader, Harper's, Berkeley Wellness Letter, Best Pills Worst Pills, Free Inquiry, E (was Animal's Agenda but it went defunct), The Progressive, and Nutrition Action (from CSPI).

I am going to allow most of those to run out, and add some so that I will only have mags I either can't get at the library or I would really like to have an archive of: Free Inquiry, Prevention, Mother Jones, and Best Pills, Worst Pills. *****, The Humanist, Bust (maybe), Z magazine, and maybe this progressive international news one I got an ad for.

I am really sad there is no more Animal's Agenda. That was the best one I had. E just doesn't cut it. They have had a couple AR articles, but not like Animal's Agenda which was philosophical and stuff.

I used to subscribe to Cosmo for the longest time. Can you believe it?

I'm down to Daily Variety (until August) and Macworld (until that runs out), then I'm giving up subscriptions entirely. I used to subscribe to 5 or 6 mags, but I didn't have the time anymore, and most mags just encourage you to want things you don't need.

For some reason Vegetarian Times keeps sending me issues, though I never subscribed?

I just ended my Rolling Stone subscription (which I had for like 4 years) and right now I'm only subscribed to Spin.

If I want to read any other mag I just go to the library-read for free!

Indeed. Except, considering where I read most of my magazines (on the crapper) I don't think the library would be too accomodating there

With that many magazines, you must spend a lot of time on the crapper

My subscription recently ran out on Science News and I can't afford to renew just now.

So all I get is English Journal (for High School English teachers) and Voices From the Middle (for Middle School English teachers).

I get Shape, Self, Glamour, Vegetarian Times, Natural Health, Maxim (my husbands), Nick JR (my sons!), Cosmo, and umm... I think that's it.

We also get Golf, Backpacker, a sports one, and a money one that we never subscribed to and they refuse to cancel. Very very strange.

I buy Veggie Life sometimes, I like it alot better than vegetarian times, I'll probably subscribe to it too. There is alot more vegan stuff in it than VT.

Max - I much prefer Veggie Life to Vegetarian Times. VT is not as vegan-friendly, as shedonteatmeat mentioned.
