What is your goal as a veg*n?

Do you want the entire world to be veg*n? Do you do it just for your own health? I am trying to become more optimistic, and I though it might help to read how other veg*ns are trying to change the world.

personally, i do it for my own spiritual process and development.

i figure i can't change the world, but i can change me, and that might have impact on the world.

otherwise, i'm generally socially and politically active, and i would prefer if people ate healthier, but i dont' believe that veg is for everyone, so i'm not interested in everyone becoming veg.

Just for health here. I'm not about to evangelize the world with veg philosophies.
Naturally, I'm doing it for the animals, and my own health. I would LOVE it if the whole world was vegetarian (Hey, picking resturants would be a breeze, no?) But I don't see it happening in my lifetime. Unless scientists finally invent immortality. They've had enough time to do it.
Solely for the animals and in the hopes that things will change. Personally I'd love to see the world be veg, but thats not really worth having serious thoughts about at this point. I just want to do my part to make things better.

Not interested in health aspects at all, so that has no influence whatsoever.
Myself (spiritual/personal growth, health), Animals, Environment, to make a positive impact on the world as a whole!! Peace & Love!!

Good quote. Says it all, really.

I don't have a "goal". I believe that taking life unnecessarily is morally reprehensible therefore I avoid do so.

I want the whole world to become vegetarian, for their health, the planet and the animals.

I realize though that the change starts with me.
I eat vegetarian meals to protect and improve my health and to reduce my impact on the environment. I'm not trying to change the world, but when people see how healthy I am and they ask me how I stay that way I tell them that choosing to eat a mainly vegetarian diet is one of the things I attribute my health to. Some of the people I talk to start eating less meat.

I would be happy if the overall consumption of meat worldwide is reduced. I'd rather see it happen by having everyone eat more vegetarian meals, but there wouldn't be anything wrong with them becoming vegetarians.
I'd like to inspire 1 other person to be vegetarian.

I've done that with TWO people, makes me feel great
My boyfriend went veg in December after 3 years of being on the fence. My friend Meghann went vegetarian months ago because of me and LOVES it.
I never even lectured her or anything, when I told her my stance, she wanted to try it and she's stuck with it for about... 6 months or so already. She had one slip up, but she didn't want to (social situation).

Exclusively because I believe humans do not have the right to cause pain to animals. Health was never a factor in my deciding to become vegetarian.
You mean goals pertaining to veg*nism or AR/AW?.

If that is the case, I'd like to do some minor activism work down the road again sometime.

I would love to inspire others to become vegetarian. My DH already did, and my 2 little girls already are, so now I have to work on the rest of my family.
