What is your favorite dish, snack, meal, dessert, side, etc., any sort of food?

My favorite is stroopwafels. I don't know if these are common but we used to eat them all the time in my family, my dad's family always used to send us some, and my dad sometimes brought some for me, too, usually if he visited his mom's house. My dad doesn't give me any anymore, though, so I haven't had any in a while, and I have no idea where I could find these.
My grandma on my mom's side has seen them in the Netherlands but doesn't know where to get them here, and she brings me some of the same prepackaged ones when she goes. Basically I like them because I love caramel or syrup or whatever is in it, and something about the way the delicious thin wafel comes together with the perfect tasting caramel/syrup (not cheap tasting like a candy bar, but not too rich) is so delicious.

Tiramisu and falafel are definitely some of my favorite foods, too, close behind stroopwafels.
I just recently tried tiramisu, and I grew up only having falafel on special occasions, like maybe once or twice, but now that I've tried different foods I'm finding my favorites aren't the ones I grew up eating all the time, I like more varied stuff of different cultures that have more interesting flavors than the basic pizza and mac n cheese and other american type stuff that I grew up with.

I honestly don't know that I could ever choose one favorite food. I like so many different things for so many different reasons. What might be my favorite food on a warm summer night wouldn't appeal to me at all on a cold winter morning. And what appeals to me on Tuesday might not appeal on Wednesday! Mexican, Italian, Spanish, Indian, traditional New England food, crispy, crunchy, smooth, sweet, sour, salty, spicy, umami, fresh, healthy, decadent, baked, grilled, sautéed, roasted, ... all so wonderful in their own right.

This is my all-time favorite meal: Creamy Tomato Soup with Sweet Potato Drop Biscuits. Insanely good.
