I probably have more than I care to say...I don't drive all that much and I just recently started taking great care in recycling....I probably use too much electricity, especially with the A/C now that it's summer....I think I waste a lot of paper, like napkins, tissues, paper towels...I think I waste a lot of water too...I'm going to stop now before I depress myself...

i run the tap while i clean my teeth. i know, i know, i know, its bad. i'm working on running it less and less, but i'm having real issues with it. i'm obviously mental- but i can't quite cope with turning it off, my teeth feel dirty. i WILL do it though.

I drive a gas-guzzling dinosaur of a vehicle, and I drive it a LOT (over 100 miles a day, on week days).<br><br><br><br>

Air conditioning. I'm an air conditioning fanatic. In the car, in the apartment. I hate being hot; and anything over like 60 is too warm to me. Then, I leave the water running as I wash a dish, then rinse, then wash the next one, then rinse, and so on.<br><br>
I also drive about 400 miles a week. I work 3 days a week, 123miles round trip. I did just buy a Prius though. It hasn't arrived yet..<br><br><br><br>
ETA: I also don't recycle. I'm horrible, I know.<br><br>
my energy bill for this month was the highest it's ever been. I have a 1 bedroom 820 sq ft apt...and it was $236. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/shocked.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="">

A few people have told me something's not right. I've been here for about 2 1/2 years, if I dont use heat or ac, my bill is about $55-$65. If I use heat, it's about $95-$135. If I use ac, well...this month , like i said was the highest it's been. Last month was 2nd highest at $165. So that's still quite a jump!

I think it is my olllldddd car. I don't drive it much during the summer....and my work comute is short (short enough to ride a bike if not for a complaining, 9 year old daughter). But I currently would rather not use gas at all for transportation. Kinda bums me out that I do.<br><br><br><br>

I am a huge consumer. I buy all kinds of stuff, for both the house and cottage. Loads of electronics, I have a ventilator in my basement for shooting range, gear and gadgets that use loads of electricity. The goods I buy I don't really need most of them any way, and the factories that make pollute, those overseas more so than here, but with over seas being cheaper and the USA mfg industry dying what are you to do. I buy food at grocery stores, so all the pollution and energy wasted on bringing those goods to market cant be good. I fly what I think is a lot, I drive way more than my share ( about 35k a year 10k on the bike easy). I do have Geothermal for the house and i use natural condoms are about my only redeeming qualities. Then again we hit fly to several swing conventions each year, so I am guaranteed to go hell in a hand basket. Life is Good.<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":up:">

Air conditioning, though I have a unit that is less than a year old, I keep the filter clean, and I use it on energy saver mode about 75% of the time, with the temp kept at 78 degrees.<br><br><br><br>
I've gone back to driving again. I could take public transportation to work five days a week and save money, emissions, and gas, but I drive anyway, mainly because my bike was stolen, increasing my commute between home and metro station and between metro station and work.<br><br><br><br>
I console myself with the fact that I went without for 18 months, but I'm looking forward to the day when I leave this job and work primarily from home again.<br><br><br><br><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/sad.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="">
