I see this as an ingredient used in quite a few recipes in my vegan cookbooks, and just was wondering what the difference is between nutritonal yeast and just regular yeast you find in baking sections? Thanks
You *might* be able to get it at a supermarket on the free from aisle (we don't have a tescos or an asda near us so I don't know) I buy mine at the Health food store. Do you have a HFS near you? We use it so much that I buy it by the case at a 10% discount --ha ha. I don't know where in the UK you are but we have an awesome independantly owned HFS in my little town. I have also bought engevita from a HFS in Elephant and Castle. Lots of towns have Holland and Barretts--some have had engevita, some have not. Some will order--mine won't.
