I cook my oatmeal in water. After it is cooked and deposited into a bowl, I pour some rice milk to make it less thick. I also sprinkle a generous amount of cinnamon. It is getting quite boring eating oatmeal like this. I was wondering what I can put in my oatmeal to give it more variety.

Some peanut, almond, or cashew butter. Also, some raisins, dried cranberries or dates
Throw in a little flax meal too.

I've never tried it, but experiment with some fresh fruit thrown in as well

i put thin slices of bananas, cinnamon, and sliced almonds in my oatmeal. i don't put sugar or milk in it because the bananas seem to sweeten it up nicely.

Peanut butter and jam, dried fruit (raisins, figs, and apricots are particularily good), nuts or seeds, applesauce or pumpkin, diced fruit (stew them in the oatmeal or sprinkle on top afterwards), any sort of milk, maple syrup, molasses (with spices you can make it taste like gingerbread), nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves, etc. Bananas, apples, or pears diced and added are all amazing.

My recent addiction is:

Brown sugar, molasses or maple syrup

Cinnamon

Peanut Butter

Cocoa powder

with sliced bananas and a few chocolate chips on top.

Heaven!

Try making it with silk nog for an interesting, fun flavor.

chopped up, nuked apples and cinnamon and nutmeg

raisins and brown sugar

cocoa powder and soymilk

blueberries and strawberries w/a dash of milk

use your imagination!

I cook it in rice milk, then put some agave nectar on. Then I slice up some bananas/apples or throw some blueberries in there. Fruits go really well with oatmeal.

I put very vanilla soy milk or vanilla rice milk in mine then I don't have to add any kind of sweetner.

But seriously the best oatmeal ever is sweetened oatmeal (sweetner of choice) and vanilla ice cream (or maybe fudge swirl type icecream). I use Rice Cream myself. It melts and combines so well with the taste of the oatmeal. That is on special occasions though and not every day.

I eat oatmeal every morning too. I cook it (with some raisins so they get soft) in water and I sprinkle flax meal over the top then squeeze on a little agave syrup (or brown sugar if I'm out of syrup). Sometimes I get bored too. If it have it in the house dried cranberries (craisins I think a brand name is) are really good.

Sometimes, I cook it with diced apples, cinnamon and raisins.

More often, though, I eat it with blackstrap molasses, a generous amount of vanilla soy milk and freshly shelled chopped walnuts.
