It is already 90 degrees outside and really humid which curtails any fun outdoor stuff. My apartment has a pool, but I don't feel like getting all greased up with sunscreen right now. What are your favorite indoor activities when it is hot outside?

It's hot inside too.

I long for an AC.

I like to go to the library or Starbucks and enjoy the AC when I can't bear the heat any longer.

I usually wake up after a while and discover that it's actually very cold out, because the sun is moving away from the earth at an alarming pace, and I was dreaming of heat because I had a fever.

I'll usually remain wearing boxers all day and instead of coffee, I'll make a smoothie or a healthy vegan milkshake and try to give myself an "off" day if I don't have work to do or use it to catch up on emails / listening to music... I don't have an AC though so it's probably going to be slightly unpleasant regardless of what I'm doing or how little I'm wearing. :p Sometimes it's just too dang hot to do much at all.

Do you have air conditioning? On the rare occasion it's really hot here (it rarely gets 90 degrees, but it has before), I usually end up going to the beach if I'm not working. I wish our apartment complex had a pool, but it rains too much for us to use it. I refuse to cook when it's scorching outside, so I'll usually eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches or salad, or if I have fake meats, I'll eat those. Make sure you're staying hydrated, dehydration is no fun.

It's very hot where I live. Here are some things we do to stay out of the heat:
Go to the movies
Go for a walk in the mall
Go to a museum
Hang out at a cafe and have iced coffee

Friday we saw Cars2, yesterday Harry Potter. Movies in the middle of the day are a savior when it's over 100. The theaters are always cold inside anyway, so it was a treat to want to put on a sweater.

I have window A/C so I read a book ,surf online and rest in the afternoon. If the A/C is on in the rooms I am able to cook stuff.
I usually go to movie theaters, resturants, churches, anything that has an A/C and sit and walk around.

I am having the opposite problem. Earlier when I tried to walk the dog she insisted on being taken home, because of the polar blast wind outside.

I just die. Usually I like the summer, but this heat wave is too much, I'm not sleeping properly. On the plus side this is my first vegan summer and I'm having an easier time breathing than I have any other summer. Nothing beats a cool shower over the summer my tap doesn't get warmer than 50/50 for hot water vs cold.

Well it was 13 degrees Celcius here today so I'm just plain jealous of anyone enjoying summer right now.

I listen to friends and family whine about the heat... knowing in a few months they'll be whining about the cold.
