Alright, everyone. Dish out some strange pieces of personal information!

I'll start...

I was raised on a pig farm. I still have bad memories of my dad trying to make us eat one of our "pet" pig, Boss Hog. And there was always a deer hanging from the front porch for later consumption... Hummm, wonder why I'm a veggie... And besides, I used to drink unpasturized cows milk which some doctors say is the reason I'm diabetic... Guess that stuff is hard on the ol' human pancreas...

Now devulge...

Well, I have weird lil things I do...like everytime I see a car on the side of the road and it's hood is up, andI can't stop to help, I blow a kiss at it and send the owner's good luck. I do the same thing when I see an ambulance drive by. Also, when I see a kadiddle(though some call it a padiddle) which is a car with one headlight out, I kiss my fingers on my right hand, touch the ceiling of my car, and make a wish....yeah I'm definitely odd.

I also have dreads and a lot of people definitely think that's kinda weird.....it cracks me up when someone I meet stares at my hair as they talk to me, but they won't say anything. I mean, it's not like I'm embarrassed by it or don't know I have dreads all over my head...lol I'd rather they just asked me about it.

I didn't vote for Bush. Or the death penalty. Shows that no one listens to me.

yup...I love my dreads I've had them for a few years now When I started my hair was down to my butt and has slowly shrunk as my hair dreaded. Now they are really nice looking, but my hair is only a lil below my shoulders. They definitely go through a long messy looking period and don't look the nicest, but it's what I think that's why I love 'em so much I've watched them grow up...lol

Wow Beardedlady. That stinks. Um...ok, here goes. I supposed to be working but I can't resist..

I have two tattoo's. A big butterfly on my arm and a tribal design on my lower back hip (almost booty) I used to smoke but I quit after 20+ years...quit about 6 months ago.

Despite my success, life kinda sucked for me here and there. I was a rebel teenager/runaway/truant. I was a ward of the State of Ohio for 2+ years until they deemed me no longer 'unruly'..hehehe. Spent from 14-16 years old in an all girls school/home in Columbus. Came home, tried to fit back in with the school thing but it didn't work out. Dropped out at 17, started living with my ex-husband at 18 (he was 10 years older), and was married at almost 21. Got my GED at 20, went to college at 25, divorced at 27, and living with current b/f since then (he's almost 4 years younger). I have no kids of my own and love my b/f's 9 year old step daughter dearly. I've used to be known for my quick temper and my butt kicking ability , but have since mellowed in my old age (thank goodness). I can still get really fired up from time to time, especially when it comes to animals, elders, and kids.

Oh, and I can raise just one eyebrow, kinda like the stink-eye smilie.

i can do that too, and do so often

are dreads hard to care for, i mean is it difficult to keep your hair/scalp clean etc?

i guess this counts as wierd nowadays, i've only ever 'been' with my current boyfriend, we've been together since we were 16 and are now 22, turning 23. not that big a deal to me but other people think it's either amazing or strange

nope...it's actually the easiest hair style i've ever had to deal with...I wash it with a tea tree oil shampoo(that takes care of any dry scalp) and keep 'em in a towel for a bit and then air dry it them. That's about it. If I know I'm gonna be somewhere with lots of other people with dreads, I put some tea tree oil in my hair. This sounds kinda gross, but the oil is supposed to keep buggies away. And, when you are around a lot of dready folks that you don't know, you don't know what they have in their hair...lol.

I've been wanting to get dreads for such long time... But I'd miss my hair how it is now. I actually have nightmares that people cut my hair.

And Ruthie.. I understand you sister! I've been married to an extremely abusive man, been homeless, had to steal for food (I guess I was unemployable because I hadn't had a job ever due to school and previously mentioned husband + chicago job market was sucky at the time), I've been pregnant and homeless, and I'm always battling the law. Before that I had a parent die, lived off welfare as a child (powdered milk and kix, anyone?), diagnosed diabetic, had a major bout with too many drugs (this continued into the homeless period).... But, alas, I came out clean with a wonderful baby and a modest home.... well, it's a crappy little apartment and I sleep on a matress on the floor, but, heck, it's a lot better than my car!!! Honest, I really appreciate my life. Everything is uphill when you come from tragedy!

ya know, i've always hated my hair, and when i go to get it cut and the hairdresser asks what i want done i say "i don't care, do whatever you feel like, it's just hair" they always look shocked and say "no really, it's your hair, you have to decide, or you'll hate it!" but no really, i don't care, cause i know no matter what they do i'm gonna hate it, cause i just hate my hair in general.

Maybe I should put that I used to have blue hair! Haha. I love doing weird things to my hair. It's so long now that there isn't much I can do but color it, though.....

Ntelligentidiot~~I bet you can gross people out with that thumb! (It always bothers me when I see someone doing something like that--it looks like they have a dislocated joint!)

I lost my sense of smell about 8 years ago. In recent years, it has partially, and sporadically, come back. Sometimes I can smell certain scents, and sometimes I can't smell anything at all. Comes in handy, though, when I'm scooping the litterboxes!

I am a Chinese who fully adopted the typical western body image obsession.

I like living in the states except that the tax thing mess me up big time. In China they simply don't give you that money to begin with, so you don't have the illusion of being rich

I have been in school CONTINUOUSLY for 20 years, still not done yet. How many more mice do I still have to mess up before they can give me that phD paper

Do you know mice don't like clean beddings? They love the soiled beddings and they chew me for changing for them

Soiled mice cages smell cozy

I have the fastest metabolism of anyone I've ever known. It's kinda slowed down in the last couple of years, but I seriously eat anything I want and don't gain weight. When I first went veggie in college, I worked at a pasta/sub place and I pretty much lived off fettucine alfredo, cheese sandwiches, and potato chips. No lie--3 or so bags of chips a day, a couple of plates of pasta, and a giant 16 inch sub with 5 kinds of cheese and all the veggies, plus about a gallon of Coca Cola a day and I never once went over 100 pounds (I'm 5'6"). I literally have to eat every couple of hours or I start to get shaky and really cranky.

I have a degree in English and am the biggest freak when it comes to punctuation and misspelled words. I can spot them from a mile away and it drives me crazy.

I also cannot eat if my fork has bent tines. I was at dinner on Tuesday and the fork at the restaurant was bent so I straightened the tines out myself and my bf about fell on the floor laughing. I guess it was funny.
