Just saw this today. Interesting.<br><br><a href="http://uk.news.yahoo.com/21/20110218/tsc-warning-on-lack-of-predator-fish-4b158bc.html" target="_blank">http://uk.news.yahoo.com/21/20110218...h-4b158bc.html</a><br><br>
Can you imagine all the so-called vegetarians saying, "Oh dear, I'm going to have to eat more sardines!" <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="">

How about we stop eating all fish? The balance will return to normal. Is it really that hard to figure that out?

Most carnivores apparantly don't care. I told my friends on facebook that I'm vegetarian now and half of them responded with ''yeah but meat is so good''.

I know! It is so bizarre that such an obvious solution doesn't occur to people, honestly it's like they think they're going to shrivel up and die without fish and <i>you don't need it at all.</i><br><br>
When you realize your species is destroying the ocean isn't it time to smarten up already? The solution isn't "Let's just kill all the sardines instead!" <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="">

We've got this saying in my family, "Warum einfach, wenn's auch kompliziert geht" - it means roughly, "why do it the easy way if there's a difficult one." That's what I'm often reminded of. Or people telling I shouldn't feel guilty for eating meat. You know, I don't - because I simply don't eat it instead of ignoring the guilt. I don't get how people can't see that it's the easiest solution.
