i'm so glad that warm weather has finally hit new jersey, i can start riding my bike to college again. woohoo! i tried riding it during winter a few times but it's about a 5-mile ride each way and i was turning into a popsicle stick..

anybody else taking their bikes out of their closets too? i went riding today for the first time since probably november and there were so many people mozing about outside. i love seeing kids chasing each other and people walking/running and couples playing tennis in the bright sunshine

Oh man... it's great. Even better since the person I ride with can't hardly keep up with me. In the last week I've been on three 7-8 mile rides. Just got back from one actually. I want to get it in now cause once it gets hot it's going back in the garage!

It is nice seeing people out getting exercise. For a while I was a bit discouraged that so many people sat inside and watched tv all night and now I'm realizing that I only thought that because that's what I did.

I've had my bike in the garage the whole winter. I actually went out a few times, even in the snow. It's nice riding in the snow - just have to dress warm. I'll definitely be going out a lot more now that it's warming up. I'm looking to buy an old 24" schwinn to make into a lowrider type bike.

I used to ride my bike everyday to college classes, and I lived in Wisconsin, and had to cross this bridge that had the reputation for being the "coldest place in the continental US"!

Now I'm in Minnesota, I usually tune up my bike every spring, but now I've got a dog, I think I'll just jog/walk with her outside.

Man, it is nice out tonight! It seemed to be 70 degrees, we just went for an hour long walk, it was beautiful.

I drive my bike all year round.

This winter wasnt cold, max 10 degrees celcius. (14 F), but Im stubborn when it comes to biking so I go on the bike no matter what. (its only 8 miles)

But yeah, the sun, the slight breeze on the tail, the humming of the tyre on the tarmac.

my bike hasnt had much action lately sincemy classes are all weird and stuff, timewise and its hard to get here there everywhere with the bike. i'm trying to work my schedule out next semester so it'l be more feasible. i have been spinning though a lot lately so i should be in decent shape soon.

anyone want to give me a roadbike? i have a mt. bike which treats me well, but i want to get into road biking..it's gonna be a 1000 dollar investment though with the bike and tires and gear and jersey and such...none of which i can afford right now. damn cause i really wanna do it..

In college I would ride my bike or walk to class everyday, it was great! I miss being able to do that. I live too far from work to walk & after a bike accident a few months after graduating college I've been afraid to ride on big streets.

This summer my bike and I shall prevail!!

Last summer I was dying to use my bike, but my mother 'gave it' to her boyfriend for most of the summer, so I was pretty much screwed. I didn't wanna seem rude by taking it back.

But this summer, while I can't realyl bike to school or whatever (as it's a 45 minute CAR ride away, on highway the whole way) but I hope to ride to the train soon, for school, and also to my old town, which is only about 15 minutes away.

I was considering taking a summer job as a bikepath patroller. It pays nothing, but at least I'd be forced into good shape right quick! Trevor said "NO WAY" though, cause there are some hoods around here who attack and pick on bike patrollers, and he's afraid I'd get mugged or raped or something... ESPECIALLY since I'm English speaking.

He's probably right, but still. Damn that'd be fun!

that's one of my goals, to ride my bike to work more often. Though I work 3rd shift, in the ghetto, so hmm, might be interesting.
