I went to a health food store to buy some low-dosage vegetarian iron supplements (been feeling tired lately and don't think I eat enough of the foods that contain iron to get a good amount). The girl who was helping me asked me "what blood type are you?" (We all know where she was going with this one.) I told her "O+" (yes, the meat-eater type) and she was like "Well you need to start eating meat!"

I just responded "Well I won't do that."

So she says "I'm O+ too and used to be a vegetarian, but now I eat meat again. You need to eat some meat."

I say "Well, I've felt a whole lot better since becoming a vegetarian and I won't do that."

She didn't say anything else about it, except that I could talk to the nutritionist there - the one who told her to eat meat again. I don't think so!

I'm also type O+. The nice thing about being type O+ and vegetarian is that you get to tell those people that you are type O+ and feel great W/O eating meat.

LOL!

It seems that she's type T-

(which means that she stopped thinking - or never started?)

Personally I'm type S+ (science), P- (pseudoscience), R+ (reading), and E+ (education).

Isn't it an amazing coincidence that the most common blood type "o+" is also the "meat eater" blood type.

The author was just trying to appealt o the majorities diet in order to sell books.

I wonder if the author has a vested interest in the meat industry...

I'm assuming it has something to do with this (blood type diet): http://www.dadamo.com/

Looks to be a nice way of scamming people into buying a book, change their entire lifestyle and have a self fulfilling prophecy of it being better for them (they know it will work, so they'll see it work).
