Violife cheese now in Tesco

I found vegan Violife cheese products (slices, blocks of original flavour and cream spread) in my local Tesco today.

And guess what? They'd put them in the cheese section - not with the usual 'Free From range, for people with digestive disorders and vegan weirdos' section ;-)

So get looking in your local Tesco, and get buying - they'll only keep selling it if we make the effort to buy it!

Ah that explains it why I haven't seen it there because I always look in the vegan weirdos section... Trip to the big tesco tomorrow! I went to a big sainsburys yesterday, you know the one with clothes and electronics etc and there was no vegan cheese at all, I even asked, was very disappointed as always considered sainsburys being better than tesco
We just got it here, too! My favourite cheese.
The Violife slices I tried a couple of months ago, were not individully wrapped which was a big no-no for me.

How come, leedsveg? Did they stick together?

No and nothing wrong with the taste either but I prefer to have a longer period of time to eat the slices which is what having individually wrapped slices gives you.
Ah. I wonder how they freeze? I know people have had success with grating blocks of other types of vegan cheese and then freezing it.

Good idea. Might buy some and give it a try.
Amazing! Will definitely be buying that on my next shop :)
Made a trip to holland and Barrett they had violife but only mozzarella style... Which is best? They were out of cheddar and original slices. Leedsveg you put put them in an airtight container to keep longer. Which type is best for melting? Like cheese on toast or pizza topping?

Thanks MIMS. You're right of course but I still prefer individually wrapped slices for longevity.
Cool I will check it out :)
