It's pretty straightforward. Here's the link: <a href="http://www.goodsearch.com/" target="_blank">http://www.goodsearch.com/</a><br>
Every time you search, it donates money to the nonprofit organization of your choice. I go back and forth among the Animals and Society Institute (a very small group that supports social science research advancing animal protectionism), Vegan Outreach, and Compassion Over Killing. You can see how much has been raised for different groups through Goodsearch by clicking on "amount raised" too. About $750 has been raised for COK and VO (each).

I'm happy to see you're using it to support groups that do so much to directly help animals! How much money is donated with each search?

They estimate it to be a little over 1 cent per search. That may not sound like a lot but it adds up if several people use it. If you're like me, you probably do far more searches than you realize. I think I do 5 to 10 a day (it's very easy to do 3 in one sitting because you want to search different terms or didn't get good results the first time).

Also, you can set it up so that Goodsearch appears in your toolbar (at the top of your internet screen).

In addition, you can click on "goodshop" and make purchases at places like Amazon, Ebay, and many other places and a portion of the proceeds goes to the charity. You don't pay any extra.
