Veggie in Virginia

Hi. I am Sandeep (Neil), presently studying Mechanical PhD in Old Dominion University Norfolk VA. I am from India and come from a veggie family. I try hard to find people who are veggies here, but seems like the number is very less. I have been always against in slaughtering animals and have been veggie since my birth. People make fun of this but I feel proud to be veggie as I stand different a bit when I am among the carnivores

I am happy to be here as some people respects veggies and create such forums.

I am investigating the occurrence of quantum mechanical phenomena in living systems. More specifically, I am investigating whether or not quantum tunnelling occurs in DNA molecules (The DNA molecules are obtained from bacteria).
