I was wondering if anyone could recommend a place to get vegetarian marshmallows from? I don't know if I'd like marshmallows any more but I remember loving them as a child and haven't eaten them since I was six, so it would be great to rekindle an old love. And make rice krispie squares! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/grin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":D">

You can make rice krispy treats with marshmallow creme, which has no gelatin, and they taste just as good. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/smiley.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":)">

I've seen them everywhere here in the US, I'd assume they'd be also common in markets and grocery stores in the UK.<br>
Here's an american jar that can be shipped to the UK through Amazon:<br><a href="http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=9325&tag=veggieboards.com-20&location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.co.uk%2FJET-PUFFED-MARSHMALLOW-CREME-JET-PUFFED%2Fdp%2FB001MQ25FO" target="_blank">http://www.amazon.co.uk/JET-PUFFED-M.../dp/B001MQ25FO</a>

If you are vegan, Marshmallow creme usually has egg white.<br><br>
rice crispy treats can be made with corn syrup instead of marshmallows, just google "rice crispy treats with corn syrup"<br><br>
also there are veg marshmallows at health food stores and online at places like this: <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=9325&tag=veggieboards.com-20&location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2FDandies-Classic-Vanilla-Vegan-Marshmallows%2Fdp%2Ftags-on-product%2FB003L7DFQA" target="_blank">http://www.amazon.com/Dandies-Classi...uct/B003L7DFQA</a>
