I'm speaking at the NYC Vegetarian Food Festival next week about how vegetarians and vegans are portrayed in the media. If you have any thoughts please post them on my FB page and I just may quote you in the speech. I'll let you know if I am going to use your quote

http://www.facebook.com/pages/Chef-C...11289208947815

Sounds a little daunting, but maybe I'll figure something out.

We tend to be stereotyped as crazy radicals, especially us vegans. However, many "good" stars, such as Emily Dechanel and Jason Mraz are very good ambassadors for the general veg*an community.

One thing that ticks me off is how reality TV and competitive cooking shows are very keen on selecting so called veg*ns to appear on their shows who are willing to sell out their principles to either cook or eat meat so they can stay in the competition.
