I've just been reminded how I used to love yorkshire puds! I have managed to find just one recipe after a few searches:

Has anyone had any success making a vegan style yorkshire pudding? The ingredients seem quite complicated for something that is technically just batter (although most of the traditional recipes have some kind of animal fat in them too e.g. 1/2 cup beef drippings, 1 cup flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 cup milk, 2 or 3 eggs).

I'll give the recipe that I found a try over the weekend, but does anyone have a translation for the American measurements to British? What is a "cup" equal to in grams or ounces?

I read a whole series of posts someplace where people were posting their results of trying different recipes for YP. It might have been on vegans UK... I forget now, it was fascinating.
