This is a recipe taken from baking911.com and is originally called "Chocolate Plastic" it is exactly liek a tootsie roll but this recipe's roll was to become a chocolate fondant to decorate cakes. You can use it for both and it makes a very very pretty vegan cake and no one would know! I personally make a big batch and use it for both. As i am rolling it i have a huge chunk to eat off.

Really? There's no high quality chocolate dark chocolate that has no milk? This recipe can be made with chocolate chips as well, just the same amount(16 ounces). You don't have to worry about sweetness since the corn syrup will sweeten the dark chocolate up alot. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/smiley.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":)">

Have you checked the chocolate chips at the grocery store? There could be some that are accidentally vegan (I know that there are some at my grocery store).
