So I tried a couple of vegan shampoos.. and so far it has not been a pleasant experience.

Avalon organics made my hair sooo greasy it looked like I hadn't even washed my hair.

I also tried this other shampoo called abba, and it kinda made my hair a little greasy but at the same time it made my hair look very very dry.

Does anyone have any suggestions on shampoo for me? I would realllyyy appreciate it.

I have used Aubrey Organics, Alba, Giovanni.

I would recommend Giovanni - it is awesome!

As well I don't really wanna order it off the internet so I guess that probably limits my options..

I like Nature's Gate and Arbonne shampoos. But I'm starting to look for something more natural and cheaper, like a natural shampoo bar.

If you have a whole foods in your town, their store brand is vegan. I like their grapefruit. Mmmmmm...smells yummy. And it's so much cheaper than the other brands.

My hair is long too. The ends are dry too (ends are normally dry if you have long hair because they are the oldest part of your hair) except my roots aren't really oily.

Well, not sure what stores you have near you....but I think Giovanni 50/50 shampoo would be good for you. They also have a formula for oily hair if you find that doesn't shampoo well enough for you.

Alot of people recommended shampoo bars. For some reason, shampoo bars always leave build up on my hair. I heard they are not really recommended for long hair but if you try one and it doesn't work, then you can always use it for soap.

That's what I use too. The brand is 365. I also use the conditioner. Good stuff.

I use Paul Mitchell... a lot of their products are vegan. It's made my hair so nice.

I like the chamomile Nature's Gate shampoo and conditioner as well. Also JASON Henna Hi Lights shampoo.

i have long unruly hair with "greasy roots, dry ends" and i get the best results using kiss my face "big body" conditioner with their "whenever" shampoo. other really good shampoos are lush's "i love juicy" and aveda's "shampure". none are particularly cheap but i find that you don't need a lot to get the work done. 365 is much cheaper and smells great, but if you have a sensitive scalp like me it might make it itchy.
