These any good?

vegetarian-shoes.co.uk

www.veganline.com (be aware that it says these might be out of stock).
Vegan steel toe boots are too expensive for my low-income budget. I saved up and bought a pair. A few months later I dropped an aircraft battery on my foot and crushed the steel to the point where it was unwearable (so glad I was wearing them!).

I had to have a new pair to work, so at 3am I drove from work to Walmart and unfortunately had no choice but to purchase a $23 pair of leather steel toed boots.

I'm saving up for another pair of vegan steel toe boots, wearing the leather ones in the meantime (yuck!)

I'm also looking to purchase these to have on hand for those "emergencies" where I need an immediate replacement: http://www.uline.com/BL_1199/Safety-...ds=steel%20toe <--- Maybe you can get a similar product in the UK?
Does anyone have any idea where I could find vegan steel toes in Canada? They've gotta have the plate in the bottom aswell(I believe it's green patch). Any ideas? I've got an old pair of leather work boots from my machine shop days, but they're falling apart. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Bummer! I wonder if you could get them repaired rather than buying a whole new pair? It seems that maybe they could just replace the steel part somehow.
