I will be going a few days to london next week and was wondering if there are any good vegan restaurants any of you can recommend?

Are you only interested in all vegan places? I'm trying to remember which ones are, but there are loads of good veg ones with vegan options. I've really enjoyed Tibits and Beatroot, both in Soho ('cept cakes at Beatroot are less than stellar). The man favors Mildreds (also Soho!) and especially loves Manna, up near Chalk Farm. Inspiral, in Camden has been fantastic both times I've been there. I also liked Pogo Cafe and Zillis Green, though we've been to each of those places just once. www.veggieheaven.com has lots of info on veg restaurants.

I will be going with my vegan boyfriend and his omni co-worker. So something with lots of options for him to taste.

We had the waiter (who was so nice btw!) just bring us a mix of appetizers and a mix of the 'favorite' main courses. Because we had NO idea what to choose. The menu is huge.

I def want to start going to London a bit more. We don't have such restaurants where I love. Only one vegan restaurant but it is super sad and not good

I'll be visiting London in April with my little sister (she's canvasing universities). Are there "sketchy" neighborhoods on this list I might want to avoid? That is, a neighborhood that might be unsafe.

Well, Brixton in South London has Ms Cupcake (vegan cakes) and Pogo Cafe is in Hackney in East London but both areas can be a bit rough IMO but probably fine during the day.

All of the places in Central London should be okay as there are loads of tourists but just be careful when travelling on the tube and keep an eye on your bags and sensible things like that. My favourite places are Mildred's and Tibits in Central London and Inspiral Lounge in North London. Manna is supposed to be really nice too. Loving Hut in Archway and Edgware are also good.
