When I used the VeganSweet brand from Pangea to make rice crispy treats a few weeks ago they melted fine (took awhile though). They were really good but the marshmellows on their own weren't. I probably wouldn't recommend them for purposes such as s'mores or to put in hot chocolate.

I haven't tried the brand Karen recommened yet but hope to soon since I've heard rave reviews about them. Only down side is they're a lot more expensive.
