Hi! I'm new here so I will jump right on in.

I don't have measurements, but basically you combine:

vegan margerine

whole wheat flour

nutritional yeast

water

onion powder

garlic powder (hmmm, might be good to saute the garlic and onion in the margerine and then strain out the chunks?)

white miso

tahini

You basically mix the ingredients to your own tastes and spread on whole wheat bread. Then you just fry it up like a regular grill cheez sandwhich in a bit of margerine and yummy! It would be great with some vegetable soup (tomato based) or with salsa.

There is also a very good vegan grilled cheese sandwich in The New Farm Vegetarian cookbook.

I make a vegan grilled cheese using vegan american slices. They have to be melted ultra slow for it to turn out right. I can also make a meal out of it by adding sliced tomato. Sauteeing mushrooms, onions, peppers etc are all very good on grilled cheese.

don't forget the ketchup for dipping!
