Plant-based diets provide several long-term advantages. Plant-based eaters live longer, have lower BMIs, and have lower occurrences of almost all illnesses investigated so far. The exceptions are nutritional deficiencies—on a plant-based diet, you should look out for iron, B12, and perhaps vitamin D insufficiency, but this is readily remedied with supplements. Go ahead and become a vegetarian or vegan. I'm a vegetarian, and it's not difficult for me. Of fact, certain unhealthy foods, such as french fries or chocolate, are still vegetarian.
