Vegan Alfredo Sauce<br><br>

Suitable for a: vegan diet<br><br><br><br><br><br>
Ingredients:<br><br>

Garlic<br><br>
Salt<br><br>
Pepper<br><br>
Earth Balance<br><br>
Olive Oil<br><br>
Coconut Milk<br><br>
Lemon Juice<br><br>
Nutritional Yeast<br><br>
Soft Silken Tofu<br><br>
Nutmeg<br><br><br><br><br><br>
Instructions:<br><br>

A. This is a saturated fat bomb.<br><br>
B. Amounts of ingredients may be hazy. I do a lot of things to taste.<br><br><br><br>
1. Mince ~8 cloves of garlic.<br><br>
2. Sautee garlic in a mixture of Earth Balance and olive oil (you can control the amount of oil).<br><br>
3. Add like half a can of coconut milk (~8 oz?).<br><br>
4. Bring to a low simmer.<br><br>
5. Stir in ~1.5 TBSP of nutritional yeast.<br><br>
6. Stir in ~1 tsp lemon juice.<br><br>
7. Salt and pepper to taste (you will likely want a lot of pepper).<br><br>
8. Add a smidge more than 1/8 tsp of nutmeg.<br><br>
9. Taste and adjust seasonings.<br><br>
10. Add ~6.25 oz soft silken tofu. Blend with a hand blender. Don't have one? Dump sauce in a blender and blend with tofu.<br><br>
11. Taste and adjust seasonings.<br><br><br><br><br><br>

I usually add this to linguini, broccoli, and tofu or faux chicken. Garnish with olives.
