I'm sure this thread exists already. Link me?

Till then;

Shaggy from Scooby Doo - vegan, following the insistence of his vegan voice actor, Casey Kasem.

Rachel Berry from Glee - vegan, as a nod to actress Lea Michele. The character became vegan somewhere offscreen during season 1.

Aggie, of Penny and Aggie - vegetarian, presumably to further highlight her bohemian, peace-loving ways.

Christine from Drag Me to Hell - vegetarian, though forced to sacrifice a kitten. I suspect that this aspect of her character is there to, (A) mark her as peace-loving and gentle, and (B) distance herself from her Pork Queen past.

Starla Grady, from Slap Her, She's French - another Pork Queen, who is revealed as vegetarian as part of her "secretly nice all along" revelation.

Max Connors from Heartbreakers - vegetarian for health reasons, though eats meat as part of a con at one point.

(I have this theory that vegetarianism is used to signal 'kind-hearted hippy' in most media, ie, Lisa Simpson and Pheobe Buffay, although this seems to be changing recently; I love how it's just not a big deal for Rachel and Shaggy to be vegan, it's just a totally unimportant part of their characters

This thread can be used for any kind of media - just in this post I've used TV shows, films, and webcomics).
