A warm welcome for Purp, our new celebrity Star! Purp joined VB four-years ago, so it's time we learn who she is! The interview will go through Sept. 30th.

Our warm and fuzzy, but iron-bounden rules-

-Please ask only a few questions at a time, so everyone has a chance to participate. (You can come back often to ask more questions!)

-Anyone can be a VB Star. If you would like to be a VB Star, just send me a PM, and we'll arrange to get you into the hot-seat! In the event no one comes forward, it will be up to our current Star to choose next week's victim, er, interviewee. If you're asked to be a Star, but don't want to be one, you may take a pass; likewise, the current Star is free to pass on any questions they are not comfortable with answering.

-Please keep our posting rules in mind, and let's keep this PG-13 or better. And remember, if our current famous person expresses an opinion with which you disagree, please do not give an argument in return. This is an interview, not a debate!

NOTE- If you'd like to read about our previous Stars (they go back several years,) all of their interviews are archived in the Meet Outstanding Users forum!

Hi, Purp!

1. I know that cioppino is a Italian-American stew of San Franciscan origin. Is your family of Italian descent or just enjoys cioppino?

2. What in particular did you enjoy about Scotland and Krakow, respectively?

3. Which celestial body do you prefer: the moon or the sun and why?

1. I'd rather everyone read everyone else's mind but my own.

2.I'm not sure. I'd love to eliminate all suffering, war, poverty, illness, ect., but I've suffered a lot in life and would prefer not to anymore.

3. The last question you asked, actually.

1. My family just likes cioppino, we're not of Italian descent (my mom's sister and brother in law lived in San Francisco, and their 2 kids grew up there, though.

2. Scotland was a family history trip, and a lot of fun, and Krakow was because I worked with several Polish immigrants who wanted me to learn their language.

3. Both!! The sun, because it keeps us warm (and relatively dry), and the moon, for the beauty.

1. I'd pay off a lot of debts, go back to school and learn something new, put some into savings, and give the rest to charity.

2. That's a tough question. I'll give you the condensed version--all 7 continents, plus all the island nations, too.

3. Speaking more languages, and being less shy.

I prefer sneakers (trainers) or athletic shoes, but I will dress up, but only in flats.

The Wizard of Oz

Too many to mention.

Both Hummingbirds and butterflies

Both red and green salsa

Not often enough. I try for 3-4 days a week, plus all the walking I do.

Not right now, but I'm hoping. I work out and I help out at my church.

It's all right.

Work out, walk, read, listen to music, bake...
