Morning Everyone!

So to my delight this morning Hope has come back to the Emergency Clinic from her Surgery at the Specialists!

For those who aren't familar with Hope, she was a Hound Cross who came to us with a double frature in her jaw. She had wrap around her neck that when we removed it had prong collar holes in it and a shock collar burn.

She couldn't sleep because every time she went to put her jaw down it caused her severe pain. Poor thing, she desparately wanted to sleep. She tried sleeping sitting up, against a wall, on her back and any other possible way.

She is such a sweetheart that I spoke with the owners of the clinic about her and they agreed to pay half of her surgery expenses. They then called the city pound and got them to agree to pay for the other half!

Hope had been at the clinic for 4 days and I had devised a pillow system that she could use to lay her head down. The doctor's made sure she has pain meds on board and we just had to wait to get her in to see the specialist.

Well today she saw me before I saw her and she yanked over the tech who was walking her to dive bomb me
!! She knocked me over and I got covered in kisses, drool and hair. She remembered me!!

I have attached some new pictures as well as her picture before surgery for everyone to see her cute self!

I got her a soft toy to play with and as you can see, she loves it!

I will keep everyone up to date on her as we try and find her a home

Kindest Regards,

VeganTigress

In case I forgot to mention before, Hope was a stray dog so I was the one who named her Hope. The pound usually euthanizes dogs in her condition so I called her Hope because I had hope people would help her
fitting name now

Hey guys! Hope is doing AMAZING! She is so playful and sweet, it's nice to see her rebound from such a horrible situation but dogs are amazing at that

They are still working on her press release so we can find her an amazing home, when it goes public I will link it for everyone:-D

Morning All!

So it looks like Hope will be going to be transfered to the City Pound and then to the Humane Society to find a home
They are going to be doing a press release about her so I am hoping she goes to a great home who knows about hounds and will be patient with her! I am going to be super sad when she leaves but I know it's the best for her and was glad I could help.

I have been working with her and she know knows "Sit" "Stay" and "lay down" so that will be helpful in her new home.

Here is a picture of her and me yesturday
