Does anyone have any amusing or embarrassing typos? I have one that can get quite amusing and/or embarrassing (depending on who sees it)....<br><br><br><br>
In a lot of my database work I use the word "account" quite a bit. Many times I'll make a typo that involves the 'o' and second 'c' switching around.<br><br>
I have learnt that before I hand a database system over to a client (for testing or actual use) it is a good idea to do a thorough check (and it's not always as simple as doing a Find and Replace).

Well the most embarassing thing was I wanted to invite my friends and my boyfriend over for a party when I was 13. I wrote my mom a letter pleading that she let him over. In it I made a sarcastic remark meant to mean, "It's not like we are going to have sex or anything"<br><br><br><br>
Well after my mom read the note, mom got all serious (and she is usually a very liberal mom). I just couldn't understand her change in demeanor. Well It turned out I had left out the "not" so the senetence read like I <i>was</i> planning on sex with my boyfriend.<br><br><br><br>
I was soooo mortified (and still am thinking about it) because I was too afraid to even kiss this guy!!!!

on another message board once, i acidentally used two S's in the word "as"....<br><br>
Ever since then, i've always made sure to double check my spelling before posting/sending it. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/smiley.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":)">

---> I said "crap" in the place of "crab"<br><br>
---> I asked my friend if he like "maple shrimp" (syrup)<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/grin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":D"><br><br>
---> "ovarian-shaped mirror" (meant oval-shaped)<br><br><br><br><br><br>

In my typing, "about it" sometimes has the space between the "u" and "t", making the last three letters one word.

I've made too many to count. Luckily they usually seem out of place and out of character so nobody gets too offended. The worst ones for me are negating/not negating sentances to give the opposite meaning.

a bunch of times in IM, I meant to type "Just a sec" but ended up typing and sending "just a sex" .... the guy just laughed (it *was* pretty funny), so I wasn't too embarassed. The X is right next to the C! It's an easy one to make!!

The funniest one that I remember was talking to Happy Ash in the IM's about clocks and I said something along the lines of, "I am not sure if any of my clocks work right." Only thing was, I accidentally left the 'l' out of the word 'clocks'. Embarrassing at the time, but funny as h*ll now. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/grin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":D">

Sure is........ I just found out how to pronounce "anime" (I'd be pronouncing it all along as "an-eem").

I don't have a lot of typos... but one good mispronunciation (if I spelled that right).<br><br><br><br>
I once said "reh-king hay-vock" instead of "ree-king ha(like happy)-vik". Of course, I have no idea how you'd spell this. *shrugs* I use too many words I don't know how to pronounce.

not really a typo but today i typed an email to one of my friends and instead of typing her name hit reply to a msg from my boss. it was a silly email too so a little embarassing but luckily my boss is cool so he just laughed.<br><br>
also it's not too cool when people reply to my fwd jokes as reply all and ask/tell me incriminating stuff that i wouldnt want certain ppl on that list knowing.
