Hi all!
New to Veggie Boards but not to veggie life.
I was a vegetarian (lacto-ovo) for over 8 years through the birth of my first daughter but since my second pregnancy I have been eating meat and just can't seem to get back to the healthy lifestyle I once had.....I've had another child over a year ago (my third), still need to lose some weight and deperately trying to not eat meat. I'm finding as I get older unless I eat higher amts. of protein and less carbs, I tend to hold onto to weight. I really want to try to not eat meat again but find I eat too many carbs when I go veg. Any suggestions to get myself back on track? I'm almost 39 and the metabolism ain't what it used to be!!! (neither is my sanity..............................)
