Hey you guys! Because of a recent running injury, I found myself with alot of free time on my hands & decided to check out all those sites where you take surveys and they supposedly pay you for it lol.
After weeding through a ton of scams, I found two that actually DO pay you. They're really good for making a few extra bucks, so I thought I'd share my findings with all of you.
The first one is Treasure Trooper. It has:
- one daily survey that is worth 75 cents, and takes less than 5 minutes.
- a "cash offers" section where you complete surveys, sign up for newsletters, etc. and make 50 cents to $35 for each task. For a lot of the offers, all you have to do is type your e-mail address or zip code in a box, and you get 50 cents to $1 for it!
- a shopping section that lists a ton of popular websites. When you buy anything from those sites (like Bestbuy.com), you get a percentage of your money refunded through treasure trooper, and these little virtual coins that you can "cash in" for Amazon.com gift cards & Visa gift cards.
(My one recommendation is that you set up a new e-mail account & use that address for the surveys. These survey sites spam you like crazy, so it's good to have a "junk e-mail" account.)
In the first 45 minutes of having a Treasure Troopers account, I made $37. They pay you around the 15th of every month, & my last check was for $198.
Being a student that only has a part-time job & could really use the extra cash, I love love LOVE that site.
The second one is Pinecone Research. Usually to join this site, you have to find a working banner somewhere, which is really quite difficult, but I did the legwork for you guys - that link works =]
That site only sends you 3-4 surveys a month, however, they only take about 5 minutes, and for every one you take you get a $5 check in the mail within a week (but usually within a couple days). They'll also send you full-size products to try out sometimes. AND they don't send you ANY spam. So you can use your regular e-mail address for this one.
After signing up for over a dozen sites, these are the only 2 that have actually paid. If I find any more, I'll let you guys know!
There have been times where I made enough money from the two of these sites to cover my groceries for the entire month, so it's like getting all my food for free! haha
