Welcome Tisha.
Some of VeggieBoards' contributors have had vegan pregnancies - I imagine they will have advice for you.
Welcome Tisha.I'm slowly transitioning to becoming a vegan since I'm currently pregnant and don't know a ton about what I should be eating to promote the health of my baby. I didn"t want to take on a change since i might not get the correct nutrition from lack of knowledge, but i've been doing pretty good eating tons of fruit and veggies since that is was I crave. I'm just wanting to know what others have done to go vegan. I'm currently dairy and egg free since my breastfeed son is allergic and I've noticed some dramatic changes in my health since I stopped eating that stuff two years ago. I also want to know how others have dealt with spouses/friends/relatives that make fun of the idea of going vegan and the idea of wanting to eat organic stuff. I'm not forcing anything on anyone since people will choose to do what they want, but if I don't want to eat meat and buy organic stuff I'm considered silly? Any advice would be great!
