No exact date set, and I'm not even sure what my work schedule will be assuming I even have my work permit by 2012 (I'm still in the process of moving to Montreal).

So I'm not by any means looking for commitments yet. But since most join and run in groups, out of curiosity, anyone have any interest in forming, like, a vegetarian group? lol...

It's basically an obstacle course designed by British Special Forces. Lots of mud, lots of really cold water. This one should be similar to the Tri-State Tough Mudder, which was about 12 miles. It will have most of the same obstacles, but they usually throw in a surprise obstacle. In Tri-State it was electrified jellyfish tentacles that you had to run through.

Nah, even if I lived there, I would be too out of shape when it comes to running.

I think I weigh too much to, if I have to do pull-ups, that is.

Tough Mudder is INTENSE. I'm training to do the TM event in SoCal next June. Totally giving a new focus to my workouts.

Sounds like exactly what I need
As the end of my military days approach and I prepare to take my place in a cubicle behind a desk, I'm trying to find a way to refocus my fitness progression so I don't just get bored with it. I've been looking into this and other similar events like the Spartan Race.
