Endorse all things by Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, Mudhoney, Fugazi, etc etc.

And these wonderful numbers:

Pavement - Slanted and Enchanted

REM - Up

Beth Orton - Central Reservation

Toadies - Rubberneck

Tom Petty - Anthology

And Tool! No one has mentioned Tool. Der. What list is complete?

The Downward Spiral, maybe...

The Downward Spiral is in.

Rubberneck would be in, if the Toadies weren't otherwise so disapointing!

REM - somehow NO REM makes any (important) list of mine. REM, the band, makes EVERY (positive) list, but no single album...

Tool is great, but no ALBUM stood out for me. Arguably the most artistically interesting heavy metal band ever, though.

ok ok, i'll take a stab at this..

1. Mad Season - Above

2. Jeff Buckley - Grace

3. Pearl Jam - No Code

4. Ben Harper - Fight For Your Mind

5. Pearl Jam - Yield

6. Dave Matthews Band - UTTAD

7. Ben Harper - The Will to Live

8. Three Fish - Three Fish

9. Live - Throwing Copper

10. Tori Amos - Little Earthquakes

if i were allowed to have Agætis Byrjun on there, it'd probably be 6. and if you haven't heard of Ben Harper, you are completely missing out.

I'd definitely have blood sugar sex magik on there. Iremember first getting it, and then saying "This is the funkiest thing I've ever heard" And it was, until I got their earlier albums. (Which were all 80's)

And in utero by nirvana would get my credit. Simply because I believe it's nirvana's best.

And rage against the machine's debut. Brilliant stuff.

And yesterday went to soon by feeder. It was made before they got really popular, and it's not as commercial. It shows why a festival is not a festival without feeder though.

I can't believe I left off Blind Melon.

Also, as I've been re-introducing hip hop to my daily rotation, I gotsta add two more:

Illmatic - Nas ('94)

Mecca & The Soul Brother - Pete Rock & CL Smooth ('92 - is this already on my list?)

Blood Sugar Sex Magik--Red Hot Chili Peppers

Achtung Baby--U2

Woodface--Crowded House

Nevermind--Nirvana

Ten--Pearl Jam

I'm sure there's lots more, but I'm at work right now and am limited by my small at-work CD collection.
