Where I live we can only get the American style (small country town)Originally Posted by Susykat
Which variety are you eating - the Mozarella (light yellow) or the American flavour (dark yellow/orange)? I MUCH prefer the Mozarella, and enjoy it both cold and melted. I have to say I am not really into the American flavour, it tastes too buttery or fatty or something!
Australia doesn't have daiyaOriginally Posted by Vancityveggie
I think the slices are nasty cold or warm. I was only able to take a few bites of the sandwhich I made with them . Making a grilled "cheese" sandwhich with daiya is much better.
when cheezly and tofutti is melted what is the difference in taste?Originally Posted by lucky_charm
I didn't like them... I will sometimes eat the 'Pure' cheese slices if there are lots of other flavours with them, but cheezly is my firm favourite!
I'll have to mail order it, so I won't get to try it for a few weeks. Thank you for the heads up!Originally Posted by lucky_charm
Depends which cheezly... the edam and mozarella cheezly's are just much much nicer and less soya-tasting and the texture is much more melted-cheese like.
I like b.t.c.c as a base for a dip, adding corn relish etc, so yummy!!!Originally Posted by Herbivorous B.I.G.
I agree. It doesn't really taste like cream cheese, but it's definitely the next best thing on a bagel.
I wish they made more non-hydrogenated varieties, though.
