Can you heat these up in the morning and then eat them at work for lunch without reheating them? I'm thinking of doing that in a whole grain tortilla with some sweet relish and lettuce plus vegetables and cookies on the side. Of course the cookies are the most important part.

I suppose you can eat them any way you like. They just may be a little cold by the time you eat them, but if you're fine with that then whats the problem?

They're not like meat sausage in that there won't be congealed fats and meat "juices" collecting on them when they cool... (OOO YUM!)

They're already cooked, but IMO do taste better if heated or fried a bit - I think they'd be just fine eaten cold after you've cooked them up however you want.

All they are is flavored cerials in a sausage shape. I'm sure you could eat them right out of the package.

I'm guilty of that. Somtimes if I cut it into slices for a sausage pasta sauce I'll throw a couple in my mouth before I cook them. They taste fine (and as always delicious) and I've never noticed a problem after eating them.
